Ken Adams, Director

Ken served as Chairman of the Waynesboro Virginia Republican Committee from 2013 until 2020.

In 2016, he was elected as an Alternate Delegate to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland Ohio and in 2020 he was elected as Vice Chairman of the 6th Congressional District Republican Committee and served until 2022.

Ken co-founded the Freedom Caucus of Western Virginia in 2019 and founded the Republican Freedom Caucus of Virginia State PAC in 2022.

Ken organized and led the legal challenge to overturn Virginia’s unconstitutional Incumbent Protection Act. The four-year Federal Court battle was successfully won in 2019 when the 4th Federal Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the pernicious law. That lawsuit profoundly changed the political landscape of Virginia.

Ken retired from Verizon. For most of his career, he established and managed Call Centers. During his final years with the telecom company, he was a Corporate Business Planner.

John Chroniger, Secretary

John has been an influential member of the Shenandoah County Republican Committee since 2014. He has served as the Activity Chairman, as well as a Precinct Chairman.

He has been a member of the 6th Congressional District Republican Committee’s Election Integrity Committee since it was founded in 2021. Also, John has been an active member of the Freedom Caucus.

Before becoming involved in politics, John was a member of the New Market Town Council and was Chairman of the New Market 2005 July 4th Celebration.

He was member of the Board of Directors of the local Little League and of the local Soccer League. John has served on the County Recreation Advisory Board, as well as the County Library Foundation.

John retired after serving as a Washington D.C. Firefighter. He has 6 children and 11 grandchildren. He resides in New Market, Virginia.

Donna Moser, Treasurer

Donna Moser served as a Chair of the Rockingham County Republican Committee. She also served as the Treasurer for the 6th Congressional District Republican Committee. Currently, Donna is the Treasurer for the Freedom Caucus of Western Virginia and the Treasurer of the Republican Freedom Caucus of Virginia State PAC.

Donna organized and hosted First Friday Luncheons for ten years. These monthly gatherings in Harrisonburg have been well attended forums for elected officials, candidates and political activists. First Friday Luncheon guest speakers were nearly all the leading Republicans in the 6th Congressional District of Virginia for a decade.

Donna’s business experience was as a banker. She began her career as a Supervisor of Commercial Loans at F&M Bank. Her final position before retiring was with the successor of F&M Bank, the Bank of America, as a Branch Manager.

Steve Richards, Director

Steve is a retired M.D. He graduated for the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine and then served as a staff physician with the Veterans Administration until his retirement in 2010.

Throughout his adult life, Steve has been an avid and energetic supporter of conservative Republican politics. In 2016, he ran to represent the 6th Congressional District on the Republican State Central Committee.

In 2018, he was Chairman of Arrangements for the 6th District Nominating Convention which was held in Harrisonburg. Also in 2018, he was elected as Southern Region Vice Chairman of the 6th District Republican Committee.

In 2019, Steve was elected as Chairman of the Freedom Caucus of Western Virginia and in 2023 he was elected a Member of the Board of Directors of the Republican Freedom Caucus of Virginia State PAC.

Gene Rose, Director

In 2012, Gene was appointed to the Roanoke County Republican Committee’s Executive Committee In that capacity, he conducted two nominating canvases for Magisterial Districts and chaired the Bylaws Committee.

Gene as awarded the Michael E. Thomas Award as the Outstanding Statewide Volunteer by the Republican Party of Virginia in 2013.

Gene was elected as Chairman of the Roanoke County Republican Committee and served from 2016 to 2018. Under Gene’s leadership the Committee grew significantly in numbers and influence.

He was elected as a Delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention which was held Cleveland, Ohio. In 2021, Gene was Head Teller at the Virginia Republican State Convention.

Before retiring, Gene owned a large farm equipment dealership in Ashland, Virginia.
